The typical wedding day that I photograph begins with me arriving at the bride’s home or wherever she will be getting dressed. I arrive in a suit and tie and ready to photograph the bride, her family and bridesmaids.
I then travel to the church or ceremony location. I photograph the groom before the ceremony and his family and groomsmen. If time allows, I usually capture more images of the bride at the church before the ceremony.
Once the ceremony begins, I capture all of the highlights of the ceremony, while remaining respectful and unobtrusive. I usually take candid and overall images of the ceremony location. After the ceremony it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to photograph formal portraits of the bride and groom, wedding party and family members at the church or ceremony location.
After the ceremony, outdoor photographs may be taken, if desired. I always discuss this with the bride and groom before the wedding so that we provide the appropriate amount of time to do this and get the couple to the reception on time!
Once I get to the reception I photograph all of the important details of the reception (cutting of the cake, flower toss etc.) but I mostly stay out of your way and let you have fun! I love to photograph all of the details that make up your reception and images of your guests enjoying your wedding.
